It is an anti-bacterial, anti-biotic, antiseptic and analgesic. In massage oils and lotions, it detoxifies and relaxes the muscles. It is used to treat acne, eczema, psoriasis, itching and even cold sores. In a diffuser or inhaler blend it promotes relaxation and is reported to ease depression. It is also known for being an expectorant, aids in seasonal allergies and is used diluted in compresses for fevers.
