Blood Orange Essential Oil has been widely used for many purposes. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic properties, promotes collagen, and increases blood flow and is used in lotions and massage oils. It has been known to be applied to the temples directly to treat headaches. Blood Orange is great in diffuser blends as its well known for its uplifting mood and promotes a happy, relaxed feeling. It also stimulates enzymes, immunity and hormones.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: As in many citrus oils, Blood Orange can cause photo-sensitivity, so avoiding the sun directly after use on the skin is highly recommended.  Applying directly to the skin is not recommended without advance Essential Oil knowledge. Use of this or any Essential Oil by a woman who is pregnant or nursing, those with liver damage, epilepsy, cancer or a child is not recommended without the advice of a Professional.
